Troubleshooting Printer Issues

If you are experiencing issues printing labels from the kiosk, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

For QL 800 Brother printers:

  1. Make sure the printer is powered on. Verify the power cable is securely plugged into the printer and wall outlet.
  2. Check that the gray USB cable is properly connected to the printer and the kiosk. The kiosk may have two USB ports - try connecting to each one to see if only one port is functional.
  3. Press and hold the button on the Editor Lite for 2-4 seconds to turn it off, if it is currently on. The Editor Lite must be powered off for the kiosk to print.

For new AE printers:

  1. Open the printer with the key.
  2. Press the feeder button to make sure it works. If not, please ensure all the cables are well connected.
  3. Please double check if there is anything stuck in the printer that might cause jams. If yes, please follow the sticker instructions to clean it up.
  4. Make sure there are enough labels in the printer.
