Streamline Your Visitor Check-in Process by Uploading Registries in Advance
Introduction
The visitor management process can be expedited and made more efficient by pre-uploading registries to the portal. This feature allows facilities to prepare in advance for both regular and irregular visitors. When visitors or staff arrive, they can benefit from the Quick Register option at the kiosk, which requires only two fields to be filled in. The system will then automatically match the input with pre-uploaded information and pre-fill the remaining fields, reducing the time spent on the registration process.
Step-by-Step Guide to Pre-Uploading Registries
-
Log in to the Portal: Use your administrator credentials to log into your facility's management portal.
-
Navigate to the 'Registries' Section: Usually located in the menu bar, click on the 'Registries' option.
-
Upload File: You'll see an option to import a registry file. This file should be in an acceptable format like CSV or Excel, containing details such as name, email, company, etc., for each visitor.
-
Confirm and Save: Review the uploaded information and confirm. Save any changes made.
Using Quick Register on the Kiosk
-
Approach the Kiosk: Instruct the new visitor to use the kiosk to scan their face for identification.
-
Enter Required Fields: The visitor will be asked to fill in two fields—typically something like 'Name' and 'Email' or 'Company'.
-
Auto-Fill Feature: After filling in the required fields and submitting them, the system will search for matching entries in the pre-uploaded registry. If a match is found, all other required fields will automatically be pre-filled.
Benefits
-
Faster Check-In: Reduces the time it takes for each visitor or staff member to check-in.
-
Improved Data Accuracy: Pre-filled data minimizes the risk of manual input errors.
-
Enhanced Experience: Visitors and staff appreciate a streamlined check-in process.
