How to Connect the Kiosk to the Internet

A Guide to Hardwiring and Wi-Fi Connectivity

If you're experiencing slow performance or crashing issues with your kiosk, there are a few steps you can take to improve its performance.

Hardwiring Your Kiosk

Hardwiring your kiosk can provide a more stable and faster connection than Wi-Fi. To hardwire your kiosk, simply connect a Cat5 cable from your kiosk to your router or modem. This will ensure a direct connection and eliminate any interference from other devices.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

If you prefer to connect to Wi-Fi, you can do so by clicking on the "settings" tab and entering the code 23232323. However, it's important to make sure you're using the strongest connection available. You can test the strength of your Wi-Fi signal by going to the "settings" tab and running the "Wi-Fi signal" test. If the result is below 72, your kiosk may experience slow performance and crashing issues.

Authentication Errors

If you encounter an "authentication failed" error when trying to connect to Wi-Fi, click on the "Help" tab to see if the Wi-Fi is connected. If it is, try running the network test tool under the "Settings" tab. If the "Ping" and "API" tests do not show a green check mark or a result of 10/10, we recommend whitelisting the domains, MAC, and Wi-Fi MAC address (which can be found on the kiosk when clicking on the help button).
